Sixth Post. Abstinence.. Awkward?

Today in Health we had a guest speaker on abstinence. It wasn't that awkward at first, just the usual sex talk. There was that point when she asked us whether we thought oral sex was sex. There was an uncomfortable awkward silence. Then a couple yeses came around the room. Everything was just normal... Talking about STI's.. The usual. Then at the very end she started talking about her own experience, like how she got pregnant during her second relationship and got an abortion. That made me thought about my cousin, who is just messed up. But that'll probably be another post later on when I have more time to rant about my family's life. Abstinence. Church talks about it all the time, and seriously, there's no other way to help more girls (and guys) to practice it. I would want a purity ring, but honestly it's just a symbol. Just because you wear it doesn't mean you can't go back on it. I think what matters the most is your heart. If your heart believe in it, and you believe in yourself, then you can do it. You just need to find that someone that waited for you too. How beautiful is that? Finding your true love that you waited for at last and find out that he waited for you all his life too. Now that's love.
